Chinese import caskets are on a rise. Funeral homes all over are looking to cut cost and Chinese caskets seem to be the way to go for some of them. Casket companies such as Batesville Casket Company, already have enough to worry about with the rise of cremation sales so they can't ignore China imports that are sweeping the U.S. industry.
Cheap Caskets Indianapolis is bringing a new meaning to some in Indiana. Here at Indiana Funeral Care we make sure that none of our caskets are imported. Low cost caskets can be purchased locally, funeral homes just need to look around.
Abraham Lincoln's Casket on Display

A replica of the ornate casket of Abraham Lincoln was displayed at the Spencer County Courthouse on Tuesday, April 15, 144 years after Lincoln was mortally wounded at Ford's Theater. He died the morning after the shooting.

Lincoln's funeral train carried his body from Washington to Springfield, Ill., creating a traveling spectacle that allowed an estimated one million people to view his open casket.
Each major stop from April 21 to May 4, 1865, involved large funeral processions. In Indianapolis, state historians say at least 50,000 Hoosiers filed past Lincoln's coffin, which was placed on display at the predecessor to Indiana's current Statehouse. Streets were lit by bonfires and torches as the casket was returned to Union Depot at midnight and loaded back onto the funeral train.

Cheap Caskets Indianapolis

Several casket stores have come and gone in Indianapolis. Costco continues to sell caskets, but according to a friend that works there, he has not seen much demand or interest. As far as cheap caskets Indianapolis, they are hard to find. Indiana Funeral Care prices it's caskets at prices much lower than other funeral homes in Indianapolis....and they are American made! Some funeral homes in Indianapolis have started selling caskets made in China, which is okay, I guess. But due to the number of veterans funeral services we perform and just plain old patriotic feelings, we have stayed with American manufacturers. The price is fair, the quality is dependable and consistent and we can obtain just about any color or material in 24 hours.
